Planning Scheme Amendments

A Planning Scheme is a dynamic document that provides a tool to manage growth and change in the local government area.

To ensure the Planning Scheme remains a leading and modern planning tool, amendments are used to make changes where required in response to legislation updates or introduction of new policies.

Proposed Amendment Package 1 – Public Consultation

Council is now inviting feedback on Amendment Package 1, including a New Local Government Infrastructure Plan.

Public consultation is open from 27 February to 1 May 2026.
