There are a number of regular programs at the Fraser Coast Libraries for children and young people.

Junior Book Club

Join Junior Book Club for children from 8-11 years, to swap and recommend books, meet friends and play games.


Storytime is a popular program of stories, songs and craft activities for children aged 2 to 5 years.

Rattle and Rhyme

This program is designed for parents and their child under 2 years of age. The 30 minute sessions include songs, rhymes and a story to encourage interaction.

Toddler Time

Toddler Time is a fun-filled program including stories, action songs, rhymes and sensory activities. This program is designed for children from 18 months to 3 years of age.

Junior Coding Club

Fraser Coast Libraries presents a variety of coding and robotics classes for children ages 8+. This is a fun and easy way for children to learn the basics of coding and robotics.

First 5 Forever

First 5 Forever is about improving the outcomes for all Queensland children 0-5 years by supporting confidence around communication and learning through everyday experiences.

Summer Reading Club

Summer Reading Club is a national program which is run during the summer holidays each year.
