Street Libraries are popping up in Maryborough

People can simply reach into a Street Library and take a book that interests them, swap it for a book they no longer want, return it when they are done or pass it on to friends. Street Libraries are a symbol of trust and hope – a tiny vestibule of literary happiness.
Maryborough now has two new Street Libraries which are an initiative of Fraser Coast Libraries!! Cherry Tree Lane Street Library for children outside the Spoonful of Sugar Cafe in Richmond St and the Portside Street Library for adults outside the Bond Store Museum in Wharf St.
