Division 4 includes a large portion of Maryborough along with Granville, Bidwill and Magnolia. Division 4 also includes many of the Fraser Coast’s beautiful coastal communities such as Maaroom, Boonooroo, Tuan, Poona and Tinnanbar.
About me
I am very grateful to be the representative for Division 4 since 2012.
I am dedicated to ensuring the Fraser Coast region has a vibrant, prosperous future.
I fervently believe that today’s vision is tomorrow’s future, so I devote a lot of my time to promoting and assisting projects that build our community.
I am always keen to pursue professional and personal self-improvement opportunities and I strive to lead with a vision that will deliver a region of which the community can be proud.
I am passionate about many things and have helped advocate for several different community projects including the establishment of the new water playground, named SplashSide in Anzac Park, Maryborough.
I helped lead the Maryborough CBD revitalisation, starting more than 10 years ago before I was elected to council. Almost $30 million (state and local funding) has been invested into city centre precinct projects to date.
Public safety has been a priority and I have worked with community groups, Queensland Police, Chambers of Commerce and state government service providers to improve community safety, especially through the installation of CCTV.
