Lennox Street between Ellena Street and Alice Street, Maryborough

  • Lennox Street, between Ellena Street and Alice Street will operate at night under a one lane, one-way traffic arrangement with traffic travelling in a southerly direction at night.  A cut and cover arrangement will be put in place with Lennox Street being re-opened to two-way traffic during the day;
  • Ellena Street will remain open during the night works with a left in and left out arrangement for Ellena Street being put in place;
  • The entry/exit to Station Square from Lennox Street may be closed to traffic in both directions only during construction of this section during night works;
  • The drainage works will commence at the Ellena Street end of the project site. There will be a drainage connection across Alice Street that will be delivered as part of this project, with an update to be provided at that stage of the project relating to traffic arrangements whilst the Alice Street crossing works are undertaken.

Closure plan

12 March 2023 at 6.00 p.m. (night works will operate from 6.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. – Sunday Night to Thursday night). Weather permitting, the works will be completed by 23 June 2023; Drainage works
13 March 2023 to 26 May 2023

Boundary Road (between Tavistock Street and Denmans Camp Road, Kawungan

The intersections of Denmans Camp Road and Boundary Road and Boundary Road and Tavistock Street will remain open whilst the works are being completed.

A detour via Denmans Camp Road, Colyton Street and Tavistock Street will be put in place whilst the works are being completed.

Closure plan 

Approximately ten weeks (weather permitting) To allow for the completion of road and drainage works as part of the Boundary Road Extension project.

9 January 2023 to 31 March 2023

Grevillia Street, Kawungan

A one lane/one way traffic arrangement with traffic travelling in a southerly direction from Honeysuckle Avenue towards Squire Street will be put in place with the eastern side of Grevillea Street being closed.

Following completion of the works on the eastern side of Grevillea Street works will then transition to the western side of Grevillea Street for a period of approximately 5 weeks, weather permitting with a one lane/one way traffic arrangement being put in place with traffic again travelling in a southerly direction from Honeysuckle Avenue towards Squire Street.

Traffic detours along Snapper Street, Denmans Camp Road, Cupania Way and Honeysuckle Avenue will be established whilst the above works are completed.

Approximately seven weeks (weather permitting)

To allow for the completion of stormwater pipe road crossings and connections to the recently installed culverts, kerb and channel replacement works and road reconstruction works.
