The Fraser Coast region has many attractive parks and beaches where you can hold your wedding.
Council has 40 different outdoor locations across the region that can be booked for weddings.
There are also seven community halls which can be booked out.

Wedding ceremonies will require a booking. To hold a wedding or ceremony in a park, public deck or hall, you will need to contact Council via our online booking system by clicking here OR by calling Council Customer Service 1300 79 49 29.
When you contact the Council, you will need to specify whether you intend to have alcohol for consumption at the event.
Please note: Booking one of our beautiful parks or open space areas does not guarantee exclusive use as many are public areas.
Saying "I do!" in one of our parks costs a flat $100 fee for ceremonies, $100 for receptions, or $170 for both with a refundable bond. Community hall booking fees and bond vary depending on the location.
The exact cost will appear on the last page of the online booking application. Site and booking fees for a wedding booking are non-refundable.
We ask that the confetti be biodegradable. You can also use rice, loose rose petals and/or bubbles.
We keep our parks and gardens tidy on a routine maintenance program. By booking the venue, we will also undertake additional gardening work the week leading to the event and clean the area on the morning of the event.
‘Wet areas’ are designated by Council to allow the consumption of alcohol in a public place, normally for occasions such as a wedding in a park.
You will need to apply for wet area approval if people intend to drink.

We strongly suggest you have a Plan B in place in case of rain or storms.
We have several venues that have a small undercover area that would accommodate a small wedding however, the undercover area cannot be booked exclusively.
