Regional Camping
There are number of bush and basic non-commercial camping grounds on the Fraser Coast.
Locations and associated facilities are listed below.

Dump Points
Council now has three dump points across the Fraser Coast. Locations are:-
- Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park, Bruce Highway Maryborough
- Maryborough Airport, Saltwater Creek Road, Maryborough
- Hervey Bay Visitor Information Centre, Maryborough/Hervey Bay Road
Visitor Information Centre - enquiries
The Visitor Information Centre is open for enquiries between 9am-5pm 7 days a week.
Illegal Camping
Illegal camping is a significant issue from both an amenity and a compliance perspective. Council local laws prohibit camping in certain areas and impose fines.
If you see someone camping illegally you can report it below.
