Reading Stars is a fun way for your child to get started with reading. Sharing and talking about books with your child before they start school will help them learn to read and write. Children 5 years and under who have their own Fraser Coast Libraries’ card can participate. This is how it works –
- Sign your child up for their own membership card (it’s free);
- Collect your child’s Reading Star card;
- Each time your child borrows from the library on their own card, get their Reading Star card punched; and
- Once your child has 10 stars punched, collect a free book to keep.
