Cheelii Lagoon is named after the rare local plant, Cheel’s paperbark (Melaleuca cheelii). Located in the beautiful seaside town of Burrum Heads it is a nature reserve of 9.76 acres that provides an opportunity to view the abundant local waterbirds in a relaxing location. Cheelii Lagoon is located on Ivor Drive, Burrum Heads.
