Description

The Dayman Park Indigenous Shade Shelter reflects and preserves the rich culture of the Butchulla people through design, artwork and place making elements.    The stamped-out Milky Way Constellation in the shelter roof relates to The Emu Story (you can see the emu in the Milky Way at certain times of the year and this told the Butchulla that the diamond scaled mullet were running).
