‘Get Ready’ is a State Government initiative aimed at helping Queenslanders prepare for summer and extreme weather events.

Attendees can meet emergency crews, learn essential disaster preparedness tips, and enjoy a sneak peek at emergency vehicles and equipment.

All this will be set against a vibrant backdrop of live entertainment, market stalls, and a variety of delicious food options.

Let your hair down, eat, drink and relax under the stars!

When: Friday 18 October 2024 from 4pm-9pm
Where: Seafront Oval, Hervey Bay

Things to remember:

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
No BYO alcohol—there is a bar on-site.
Please leave your pets at home (assistance animals are exempt).
Bring your own chairs and picnic rugs; personal shade structures are not permitted.
There is no ATM on-site. Most vendors have Eftpos available.
