Whether you're passing through or staying a few days to explore the Fraser Coast, our RV Rest Stop facilities offer a peaceful, spacious location with easy access to town amenities. Stays are limited to 72 hours.

Cancellations

Refunds for RV Rest Stop bookings will only be issued if cancellation is received in writing before the booking start date.

Biosecurity Information

The venue is a working livestock facility, all campers must comply with our biosecurity protocols. This ensures the safety of animals, visitors, and the wider agricultural industry.

What Campers Need to Know:

  • Do not enter livestock areas unless permitted
  • Pets must be restrained at all times
  • Clean any equipment or footwear if coming from another rural property
  • Follow all signage and staff instructions on-site

Camping FAQs

  • Basic facilities including toilets, hot showers, powered sites, water, grey water disposal points, and a dump point are available.

  • Yes, but they must be kept on a leash at all times and remain outside livestock areas. An off leash dog park is available adjacent to the RV Rest Stop Area.

  • Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park is classified as Recreational Reserve of which Council is a trustee. In accordance with the operational policy of Secondary use of Trust land, camping may only be provided for the travelling public and limited to no longer than 3 nights.

  • Sites are generally available and same-day bookings are welcome.

  • Yes, our rest stop accommodates a wide range of vehicle sizes with easy access from the Bruce Highway.
