Venue Hire FAQ
-
If your event includes livestock, you're required to comply with the Biosecurity Act 2014. This means a Movement Record must be completed for any animals being transported between properties in Queensland.
A Movement Record documents:
- The owner of the animals
- A description of the animals
- The origin and destination of the movement
As the event organiser, it’s your responsibility to ensure all livestock have valid movement records. These records must be kept for the period specified by the Queensland Government, depending on the type of animal. For more information, please visit the Queensland Government biosecurity website or contact our office.
