The Fraser Coast Regional Council will provide more than $52,000 in grants to help seven local community groups improve their facilities and to support nine community events such as an antiques fair, museum pioneer day and a centenary dinner.

Councillor Phil Truscott said the grants had been approved under Round Two of Council’s 2020/21 Community Projects and Community Events grants programs.

“Council’s grants schemes offers a range of opportunities for groups to apply for funding for projects, activities and events that help ensure we have a vibrant community,” he said.
