Fraser Coast businesses wanting to showcase their enterprises or find out more about support services are encouraged to get involved in the inaugural Fraser Coast Business Expo next month.

Deputy Mayor Darren Everard said the Fraser Coast Business Expo would be held at the Beach House Hotel in Scarness from 2pm to 7pm on Thursday 29 July.

“The expo will showcase Fraser Coast small and medium-size enterprises as well as provide local businesses access to information on business assistance, services and products to assist and support them to grow,” he said.

“It is one of a number of initiatives being rolled out under the Fraser Coast Regional Council’s $500,000 COVID-19 Economic Stimulus package.

“Council is determined to do what we can to assist businesses to grow our local economy, keep people employed and create new jobs.

“Other initiatives in Council’s COVID-19 Economic Stimulus package include grants for shop front revitalisation and to help businesses obtain financial advice, a business summit headlined by David Koch and a face-to face survey.

“It’s all about building better communities together.”

The Fraser Coast Business Expo is free and there will be no charge for businesses to set up a display.
