Dale Murrin from Wide Bay IT and Deborah Mead from NBN headline the guest speakers at the free Fraser Coast Business Expo 2021.

But wait there’s more! Attendees at the free Fraser Coast Business Expo 2021 next week will be in the running to win almost $7000 worth of door prizes.

The free expo at the Beach House Hotel in Scarness next Thursday 29 July 2021 is designed to help Fraser Coast businesses find out more about what services and products are available regionally to help them grow.

“The expo on Thursday, July 29, promises to be a great event for local businesses to network and gather information, and the fact there are almost $7,000 in prizes donated as well is just the icing on the cake,” Deputy Mayor Darren Everard said.

“The prize pool includes $1,500 in Buy Local Gift Cards donated by NBN and Council, as well as sessions with lawyers, marketers, accountants and merchandise including ceramic chef knives and printers.”

More than 40 local businesses and government departments would be exhibiting at the expo.

“The Expo is part of Council’s $500,000 COVID-19 Economic Stimulus package, which includes a wide range of programs designed to help businesses improve shopfronts, increase sales, reduce costs and share knowledge,” Cr Everard said.

Guest Speakers between 2pm and 5pm will cover topics such as new technology, social media tips, doing business with Council, human resources changes and State Government small business support.

To be COVID-19 safe, the expo will be held in two sessions – 2pm to 5pm and the Business networking event (including complimentary drink and nibbles) from 5pm to 7pm.
