Aqua Ninja becomes a FREE attraction at WetSide
Fraser Coast families and visitors will soon be able to tackle the Aqua Ninja activity area at WetSide Water Park for free.
Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour said the change would take effect from Wednesday, 10 September, to coincide with WetSide’s reopening for the 2025/26 season.
"The Aqua Ninja area is a fun, interactive activity that will now be easier and cheaper for families to enjoy,” Cr Seymour said.
“Making it free will increase community use, reduce costs, and simplify operations, all while maintaining safety.”
The new operating hours will be:
- Out of school holidays: Weekends only from 12pm to 5pm
- During school holidays: Daily from 12pm to 5pm
Cr Seymour said the change will help enhance Aqua Ninja’s role as one of the water park’s highlights.
“WetSide is the ultimate place to cool off, from thrilling slides and a dedicated water play area to TotSide for our littlest visitors, and now a free Aqua Ninja activity area,” he said.
“This change will make the most of the structure, improve accessibility for the community, and keep WetSide as a fantastic place for families and visitors to enjoy.
“We’re proud of what WetSide offers our community and visitors alike, and we’re looking forward to another fantastic season when the park reopens in September.”
WetSide’s water slides will continue to operate as a paid attraction.
