ANZAC Day 2019
Anzac Day is nationally recognised as a day to pay respect to and acknowledge those Australian and New Zealand service men and women who served at war. Dawn Services and parades are held across the Fraser Coast in which veterans, local schools, community groups, service organisations and the armed forces participate.
March to Dawn service step off is 5.15 am Cenotaph at Freedom Park, Main Street, Pialba.
Step off is 9:15 am. Main service assembles at Hunter Street. Procession marches along Torquay Road to Main Street and to the Cenotaph at Freedom Park, Main Street, Pialba.
Departs Adelaide Street (RSL) at 5.15 am. Dawn Service commences 5.45 am at Queens Park Cenotaph.
Main service starts at 9.00 am at Queens Park Cenotaph.
Dawn Service starts at 5.50am with On Parade Service commencing at 6am at the Memorial Gardens – Mayne Street Tiaro.
Dawn Service starts at 5.40am at Tinana War Memorial.
Dawn service at 4:28am. Parade forms up at CWA Hall Steley St, Howard from 4:20am. Cemetery service at 5am.
Main parade starts at 7:30 am from the Community Centre Carpark.
March to Burrum Heads Memorial Service commences at 8:30am. Meet at Burrum Heads Community Hall in Burrum Heads Road.
Toogoom Community Hall 5.45am at the wall of remembrance adjacent to the Toogoom and Community Hall followed by a gunfire breakfast in Hall.
River Heads Community Hall, Ariadne Street, River Heads at 5:50 am followed by “Gunfire” breakfast.
Gather next to the Poona Centenary Hall at 5.45 am for 6.00 am start followed by gunfire breakfast.
