Anzac Day is nationally recognised as a day to pay respect to and acknowledge those Australian and New Zealand service men and women who served at war.
Dawn Services and parades are held across the Fraser Coast in which veterans, local schools, community groups, service organisations and the armed forces participate.
This year, some marches and parades are limited to ex-service personel, please see below for details.

Dawn Service commences 5.45am at Queens Park Cenotaph.
Main service starts at 9.30am at Queens Park Cenotaph.
Dawn service commences 5.15am Freedom Park, Main Street, Pialba.
NOTE: only ex-service personnel will take part in the marches.

Dawn Service 5.45am at Wall of Remembrance (adjacent to) Toogoom Community Hall followed by gunfire breakfast at hall.
Dawn Service 5.50am at River Heads Community Hall, Ariadne Street followed by gunfire breakfast at hall.
Dawn Service commences 6.00am at Poona Centenary Hall, followed by gunfire breakfast at hall.
